Ryan Heusinkveld

As President and CEO, Ryan is responsible for the overall vision and leadership at Smith. Ryan originally joined Smith as CTO in early 2017 and oversaw the consolidation of the teams across the various technology stacks and refinement of scalable and secure development and delivery practices over the subsequent years. Today, Ryan spends much of his time in hands-on collaboration with the delivery teams in addition to working closely with Smith’s partners in defining, advising and executing on joint strategies while attending and speaking at external events to help drive the Smith vision. Prior to joining Smith, Ryan was VP of Technology at SapientRazorfish, focused on leading the architecture and standards for delivery across the technology team and functioning as a technical executive sponsor across projects. Before joining SapientRazorfish, Ryan spent over 9 years at Thomson Reuters, starting as a developer and moving to the architect across multiple business units with global responsibility for ecommerce architecture. Ryan is based in Minnesota and holds a degree in computer science from Saint John’s University.
