The Situation

A major producer of gourmet ice cream was launching a new product line of out-of-this-world ice cream flavors aligned with the solar eclipse in April 2024. Rather than launching the limited-edition ice cream collection on a standard landing page, they wanted to create a digital experience that helped bring the entire collection and campaign to life – an immersive web experience inspired by a fictional flight through the galaxy.

The Work

We partnered with the client’s creative team to create a landing page and shopping experience that felt different from anything that had been done on the site before. This required rebuilding all page components with the ability to fully customize the color of the background, all copy, CTAs, and header/footer spaces. While the short-term goal was a fully customizable landing page for the Eclipse campaign launch, scalability and reusability was top-of-mind for future efforts.

Real Results

The result was an interstellar landing page (and corresponding Product Detail Pages) that completely and successfully transformed the website experience into something immersive and surprising. The website not only looked the part, but also converted at a high rate, up 8% vs. the previous period, contributing to a 2.5x increase in revenue.
