00:07 – Responsible design puts things into practice that focus on the ethical impacts of what we do and what we design
00:14 – and the requirements that we build and the research that we do to build the foundation for that. It considers marginalized communities
00:21 – and considers inclusive communities. and considering whether or not certain things have impact on people’s lives outside
00:30 – of what they do on the computer and how it impacts them in the community themselves. It considers accessibility. It considers all of the things that are outside of that kind
00:41 – of standard 80 20 customer research perspective that we always end up trying to, to focus on. Ultimately, responsible design should be synonymous
00:53 – with human-centered design. After all, we’re designing for humans, and we should consider all of them. It is creating that kind of trust between the people
01:02 – that you’re designing for and that you’re trying to create experiences for. And doing that by making sure that all of their needs for all the communities affected are considered.
