Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Karrie Willis is Smith’s Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Karrie joined Smith in 2020 and has improved the financial and operational systems and processes, implemented more robust reporting and forecasting, and facilitated the acquisition and integration of Adept Marketing in early 2022. Karrie also serves as the executive sponsor and member of Smith’s Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee. Prior to joining Smith, she was CFO of United Language Group, where she was a responsible for financial management worldwide, human resources and investor relations. Karrie was integral in completing six acquisitions over the course of two years, raising additional equity and debt financing, and implementing a new ERP system. She has also held CFO and financial leadership positions in growth-oriented companies, with a proven track record of building and leading strong teams while improving efficiencies and profitability. Karrie earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse and holds an inactive CPA license in the state of Minnesota.
