Dechay Watts is a seasoned content and communications executive with more than 20 years of experience helping B2B, SaaS, and enterprise organizations turn storytelling into measurable growth. Currently VP of Digital Marketing Services at Smith, Dechay co‑founded SPROUT Content, a national content marketing agency that she scaled through a successful acquisition by WPP, one of the world’s largest advertising and marketing networks.

Following the acquisition, Dechay advanced into senior leadership roles at Gorilla Group, Wunderman Thompson Commerce & Technology, and VML where she led large, cross‑functional digital, insights, and analytics teams and supported agency growth through transformation and M&A integration. Known for translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives, Dechay specializes in building digital strategies that drive trust, pipeline, and revenue. Dechay resides with her family in Denver, Colorado and is widely known as one of the finest skiers to hail from the Florida panhandle.
