Brooke Smith

Brooke Smith serves as EVP, People & Culture at Smith. Over her 15-year tenure, she has played a key role in building a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture, leading with Smith’s core values – Accountable, Collaborative, Curious, Innovative, and Transparent – as a foundation for continued growth. 

In her role, Brooke oversees People & Culture across North and South America, leading strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, scale talent, and strengthen leadership, culture, and employee experience. She is deeply committed to creating an environment where people feel supported, empowered, and inspired to do their best work, ensuring Smith remains the home of The Performance Commerce People. 

Brooke holds a Bachelor of Human Resource Management (Honors) from York University and is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). She is an active member of both the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and supports the next generation of HR leaders through her involvement in the York University School of Continuing Studies Mentorship Program.
