As CRO of Smith, Danielle Walton leads the agency’s vision and talent with incredible passion and disciplined delivery. With the energy of a Peloton instructor, she continuously coaches her clients and team to aim higher and take the necessary steps to achieve ultimate performance.
Early in her career, Danielle joined Deloitte, one of the Big 5 consulting firms. She successfully led communication planning, training and change management strategies for enterprise technology implementations at Fortune 500 companies—specifically in the healthcare, government, and retail sectors. From there she led marketing at Lifestyle Communities, a rapidly-growing urban residential real estate developer headquartered in Columbus. Working across five divisions within the company, Danielle ran a successful “mini-agency” that helped double market share and achieve aggressive growth for the brand.
Seeing an opportunity to provide that growth via measurable performance marketing for other brands, Danielle launched Adept in 2008, which is now among the Top 100 Fastest Growing Agencies in the U.S., a member of the Inc 5000, and a repeat member of the Columbus Fast 50—a testament to the agency’s successful delivery for its clients.
Danielle is a graduate of Miami University with a BA in communications and a minor in marketing. When she’s not growing a business, Danielle spends time with her husband, Ryan, and her three children, Lane, Graham, and Sloane. She is an avid traveler, with a goal of visiting all 50 states and all 7 continents.
